Wow, it has seriously been way too long. A lot has happened since May...and a lot of stuff just continues happening. I guess the action really never stops here in the Big Apple, but I digress.
To sum up, I got a full-time job (check out my sidebar!), I was hired to work on my third graphic novel--this time to illustrate the book fully on my own!, and I moved apartments. In between all of that, somehow life is still happening, but I don't get to sketch nearly as much as I used to; most of my drawing energy is dedicated to my new book as well as a few other odd freelance jobs here and there when I find the time and inclination.
And so, this blog has been tragically neglected...but fear not! I come to redress this issue with a huge sketch dump, complete with sketches from the Met!
People from the subway!
Original characters!
Elvish family trees!
Flowers!
Life drawing from the Society of Illustrators!
Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones!
Animals from the Natural History Museum!
Told you it was massive!
The characters of Tolkien's Silmarillion and George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones don't belong to me!
